Steve Farley Memorial PGM Scholarship

Description:

Steve Farley was an avid golfer who died on June 13, 2004, at the age of 55 of kidney cancer. He was a generous man who helped those in need. So that his legacy may continue, family and friends have raised money to award a student with Steve’s same love of golf.

Qualifications:

The Steve Farley Memorial PGM Scholarship is available to an Arizona State University PGM student who is junior or senior status. Candidates should demonstrate promise of academic success, as well as require financial assistance.

Amount of Award:

Minimum $2,000.00

To Apply:

Submit an essay describing your experience in the PGM program at ASU and why you chose to be a Golf Professional, and you must also send a letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor.

Deadline:

Submit by E-mail to Kathy@stevefarleymemorial.com by November 15, 2007. Decision will be finalized and candidate notified on or before January 1, 2008.
